A-T expands its line of direct-drive turntables with the AT-LP8X. This turntable is packed with features like the newly designed tonearm lift that automatically raises the tonearm at the end of the record side and stops the motor.
Inspired by classic A-T turntable models, the J-shaped aluminum tonearm comes equipped with also a newly designed AT-LT10 headshell and AT-VM95E cartridge with 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus.
New additional features include:
• Plays 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM records
• Motor features a speed-sensor system to maintain accurate platter rotation speed
• Low-torque, direct-drive DC servo motor improves wow and flutter performance
• Internal switching power supply, optimized for audio performance
• MDF (medium density fiberboard) box plinth with 16 mm walls and adjustable feet
• Phono-level output provides pure, direct transmission of the cartridge’s signal
• Includes detachable RCA output cable (dual RCA male to dual RCA male with ground), 45
RPM adapter, and removable hinged dust cover
