Jon Foreman & Gable Price | 50th Anniversary Next Generation

As Taylor’s year-long 50th anniversary celebration continues, we’re excited to share the next installment in our Next Generation series, where we’ve asked Taylor artists to nominate a musician they think we should watch for the next fifty years. This time around, Jon Foreman—guitarist, singer, and songwriter for alt-rock mainstays Switchfoot—nominated Gable Price. A lifelong guitar player and songwriter hailing from the Midwest, Gable launched his band, Gable Price and Friends, in 2018 with their debut, The Redding EP. Two years later, the band shared their first full-length record, Fractioned Heart, followed up in 2022 with their second LP, The Consequences of Being Alive. With his clear, striking vocals and heartfelt lyrics, Gable is already carving out a name for himself in the music world both as an artist in his own right and a songwriter collaborating with other musicians across genres. Watch Jon and Gable play Switchfoot’s "Dare You to Move" and stay tuned for new episodes of Next Generation.
