Sarah McLachlan & Tiny Habits | 50th Anniversary Next Generation

As we enter autumn of Taylor’s 50th year as a guitar-maker, we’re continuing our celebration with another installment of Next Generation. This time, we’re honored to feature renowned singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan, who was kind enough to spotlight another artist as one to watch for the next 50 years.

For her choice, Sarah nominated acoustic indie trio Tiny Habits. Formed in Boston in 2022, Tiny Habits is Maya Rae, Cinya Khan and Judah Mayowa, who originally met at Berkeley College of Music. Growing an audience at the outset with intimate covers recorded in the stairway of their dorm, Tiny Habits has built a foundation on their rich three-part harmonies paired with gentle acoustic arrangements and compositions. Now, the band is launching a new phase after receiving acclaim from the likes of David Crosby, Phoebe Bridgers and Noah Kahan, following up their debut EP, Tiny Things, with their first full-length release, All For Something, which arrived in May of 2024. Watch as the trio honors their nomination with a performance of Sarah McLachlan’s song “Ordinary Miracle” and stay tuned for more artists to watch.
