One of the hottest guitar talents of his generation, Marcus King blends blues-rock feel with song writing chops inspired by everyone from Wu Tang Clan to Janis Joplin. His soulful playing and spine-tingling voice have won him endless plaudits – and the attention of The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, who produced his latest album Young Blood.
A long-time Elixir artist, Marcus sat down with us on his 2023 UK tour to talk song writing, touring with the world with his best buddies and not wanting to be a guitar hero per se. And, of course, his impressive touring rig!
