Producers, in this video, we’re going to be making a pluck sound with Plugin Boutique’s Wavetable Synth WaveOSC. Let’s dive right in.

Let’s start by initializing the patch. You can find the init patch in the basics folder of your presets. Double-click it to set everything to default. Turn off the second and third oscillators for now, so we can focus on the first one. Change the waveform from a sine to a sawtooth.

We’re using Scalar to generate a melody. Moving on, let’s adjust the envelopes. In the ADR envelope, lower the decay.

To make it louder, we can adjust the volume. We’ll also add some movement by applying modulation to the cutoff and pulling it down. Next, we’ll do the same with the decay, creating a shorter decay time.

Let’s add a bit of resonance to make it punchier, but not too exaggerated. We’ll pan the sound hard left to make it sound thicker.

For even more width, we’ll add a second oscillator. Use a square waveform and follow a similar envelope shape. Pan it hard right to open up the stereo space.

To further enhance the width and space, we’ll adjust the attack time on the envelope. Then, we’ll increase the slope for a shorter attack.

Adding some delay and distortion before the third oscillator to create the desired sound. Adjusting the high-end spectrum of the delayed signal and distortion.

To use an additional oscillator or wave table oscillator, generate a wave table combining both oscillators and add effects as needed.

Now, in the master section, we’ll apply some effects to get closer to the desired sound. We’ll filter off the high end, add a bit of distortion, and use filter automation.

Let’s add some delay and chorus. The reverb will make the sound super wide. Adjust the reverb settings to fit the desired sound.

Listen to the sound in the context of the track to see if it fits well. Remember, you can re-trigger automation to tweak the sound further.

Make sure it works well with the rest of the track. Finally, you’ve got a nice, subdued pluck sound. Feel free to experiment and add more effects as needed."

That’s the detailed explanation of the video content without timestamps.
