Congratulations on the purchase of your Audient iD interface! Whether you got an iD4, an iD14, an iD24 or an iD44, this guide will help you to get started using Cubase.
The first things you will need to do are connecting the interface, installing the drivers – and then setting up Cubase in the best way to suit your needs. In this way, we talk through plugging in a microphone to verify that Reaper has a working input – then set up Cubase accordingly.
Next we set up monitoring – either through Cubase or through the iD low latency monitoring system – making sure that we don’t hear the same signal twice, which causes unwanted audio artefacts.
