Pro Tools 101 - Getting Started with Audient iD

Congratulations on the purchase of your Audient iD interface! Whether you got an iD4, an iD14, an iD24 or an iD44, this guide will help you to get started using Pro Tools.

The first things you will need to do are connecting the interface, installing the drivers – and then setting up Pro Tools in the best way to suit your needs. In this way, we talk through plugging in a microphone to verify that Pro Tools has a working input – then set up Pro Tools accordingly.
Next we set up monitoring – either through Pro Tools or through the iD low latency monitoring system – making sure that we don’t hear the same signal twice, which causes unwanted audio artefacts.
