Episode Three of SNARE features one of the most recorded drummers in all of music history, the legendary James Gadson. While re-visiting his past works with Charles Wright, Bill Withers, Gloria Gaynor, and Beck, Gadson demonstrates an array of snare drum tunings that he utilized for more than 50 years to get ‘that ring,’ ‘that pop,’ and ‘that punch’ on countless award-winning records. Gadson’s credits also include Marvin Gaye, Jackson 5, Diana Ross, and many others.
