Samples can do anything. Probably. Here’s a thing they can do: add some character to a
passé drum loop.
If you route your drums to the sidechain of a Snap Heap acting on the output of a Phase Plant, you can run any sample you like through a process where the amplitude envelope of the drums controls its gain. So the top layer takes on some cool ambience. Awesome. Amazing. Fantastic.
