Here are my top 5 new features for Avenger 2 by Vengeance sound with a bonus one at the end which I think will revolutionize how synths handle presets going forward… let’s go!

First up, the Spectral Module is like a Granular synth engine but smoother time freezes. This one has 7 different algorithms and has a built-in spectral expander to compress the fft frequencies and can generate some really interesting and unique sounds.

The new Arp Randomizer is next level. It moves you away from static traditional arps to robust melodies and all the way to gnarly solo territory.. and with an added new feature, you can export that section to MIDI!

There are actually 5 new FX, but I want to just to focus on 2.

The Q4ntum delay is pure insanity with 4x multitap delay modules, each with 3 automatable and time synced effect slots and it comes with 20 new effects for those slots, like stutter, reverse, ringmod and much more. It’s like a sound design dream.

The RutaVerb has 5 wonderful new huge reverbs, including the "Abyss" algorithm for ultra dense and long verbs and it has a built in shimmer effect that sounds amazing!

Finally, The new quantizer module for the oscillators works like in an Eurorack modular system, which lets you auto pitch your oscs to certain scales and let you create true randomized melodies. You can choose your own notes and select one from a list of presets.

And, a few additional quick mentions,

there’s now a single loop module, a drum loop module, a Bit Bite effect, a routable envelope follower, parallel routing for the filters, new presets for the synth, the effects, the envelopes, the arps as well as a bunch of new impulse responses for the library.

And, finally, while this might seem like a small thing, it is definitely something I want to see in all synths going forward, you can preview the presets without having to load the patch. This needs to be a thing, please make it a thing!
