What's a 24 Fret Banjo?? OB-150EF & OB-3EF

In this video, Scott Cockerham both explains and demonstrates Gold Tone’s new offerings of 24 fret banjos, the OB-3EF and OB-150EF. Referred to as "Extra Fret" banjos, these banjos contain two extra frets while keeping the same scale length. With the same fret spacing and scale length comes a shifting of the bridge positioning to compensate. The slight difference in bridge placement contributes a more "warm" tone that might just be preferred! Listen for yourself!
