Join Joshua Casper in welcoming Michael who is the marketing manager at Baby Audio and product specialist for Atoms. He’s a musician and audio engineer based in Montreal and he’s going to run us through the workflow and creative possibilities of this new Baby Audio plugin.
What we’ll cover on the stream:
Sound design with Atoms, the new physical modeling synthesizer from Baby Audio.
Michael will walk us through a few key areas where the synth excels, from instrument-like plucks and bowed sounds to sci-fi soundscapes and atmospheric pads.
Along the way, he’ll explain a bit about physical modeling synthesis and the unique concept that powers Atoms’ underlying physics simulation.
He’ll also take us through some practical tips for programming Atoms including how to to create evolving textures with its built-in automation system.
We’ll also see a few BA favorites in supporting roles in a fun little session he’s put together.
