In this episode, Ross Rothero-Bourge, who mixes many of our Zildjian Performance Videos, talks about the importance of selecting great sounding cymbals so that you can leave the overhead EQ basically unchanged.
Ross states that "If you alter the overhead EQ to adjust your cymbal sound, you are also compromising your drum sound in the mix." To demonstrate this he is using a Zildjian Vault Performance featuring Zildjian Artist Jamal Moore.
