Special guest Eric de Jong, aka @DutchGuitarDude from the Netherlands will join Thomas for this packed episode.
Eric is a passionate AMP1 user, having it in a combination with different pedals and the BOSS MS-3 for many years. On this week’s Academy of Tone, he will show his unique tricks and tips to create a setup that is almost an alternative for the AMPX! 😉
Eric will also introduce us to his "Zero Gain" technique, which is based on our Lo Gain feature for the combination with overdrive pedals. You’ll get to hear how it sounds and learn how it’s done.
As Thomas and Eric are big fans of Michael Landau, they will also discuss some of his playing styles, his inspiration to them, and what kind of gear he was using during different eras. They will also explore how to get some of his sounds with the Amp1.
