TAMA’s True Touch AAD Snare Pad incorporates a multi-layered design using strong, heavy base materials and multiple layers of foam padding. A sound source hidden inside the pad produces an immediate and responsive snare-like buzz that is highly dynamic, delivering responsive and realistic feedback to the player. The top layer of two-ply mesh material produces realistic stick response and can be "tuned" from low, medium, or high to "dial-in" that perfect feel. The top hoop is raised, similar to an actual drum hoop, allowing drummers to accent rim shots and work on various side-stick techniques. The overall pad construction and material combination produces a springy-yet-firm stick rebound that fully reacts to drum stick technique with responsive, detailed rhythmic information.
