The Model 12 is a utilitarian tool serving not only as a mixer, but a standalone mulitrack recorder, a USB Audio interface, and a DAW controller.
The update features more DAW’s added to the controller function, main and sub output attenuation features, as well as pre and post fader mode for headphone monitoring.
