After more than 3 decades of collaborating, Gibson is excited for the next evolution of our relationship with rock icon and first-ever Gibson Ambassador, Slash. Today, to celebrate the first release on Gibson Records, we are proud to announce the Slash Les Paul Standard Limited 4 Album Edition.
One of the most distinct aspects of this collaboration is the emblazoned number 4 matching the album title released on Gibson Records. Slash and Gibson worked to together to create a unique hardshell case that holds an included copy of the 4 vinyl record by Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators. Only 250 guitars have been crafted by Gibson USA as part of this very special limited run.
The Slash Les Paul Standard Limited 4 Album Edition in Translucent Cherry features a AAA flamed maple top, a solid mahogany body, and Slash’s personal touches including a 50s neck profile, Gibson Custom BurstBucker™ Alnico 2 pickups, color-coordinated hardware appointments, and hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop® capacitors. The unique hardshell case is emblazoned with the 4 album logo. Case candy includes a Slash 4 sticker, a 4 guitar pick tin containing a variety of pick colors (8-count), and a signed Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators band portrait.
