We are pleased to introduce four new cymbals into our lineup. The Meinl Smack Stacks are now available, two in our Byzance Vintage series, and two in our HCS series.

Byzance Vintage 10“, 12“, 14“ Smack Stack
The Byzance Vintage Smack Stack features three B20 bronze discs shaped to create a distinctive sound effect. The stack can be manipulated by adjusting the tension of the cymbal stand’s wing nut. Increased tension produces a crisp attack and short decay ideal for quick accents, while loose settings yield a longer sustain. Works well when paired with a snare drum for enhanced back beats, or as an alternative to your snare altogether.

Byzance Vintage 8“, 16“ Smack Stack Add-On Pack
The Byzance Vintage Smack Stack Add-on Pack is comprised of two B20 bronze discs that you can use to expand your Smack Stack. This pack features both an 8” disc for added high end and a 16” disc for a lower timbre. Add to your existing Smack Stack and use all five discs for more volume and a fuller sound. You can also mix and match discs to find the sound that suits you best.

HCS 10“, 12“, 14“ Smack Stack
The 3-piece HCS 10/12/14 Smack Stack features three discs shaped to create a distinctive sound effect.

HCS 8“, 10“, 12“, 14“, 16“ Smack Stack
The 5-piece HCS 8/10/12/14/16 Smack Stack features five discs shaped to create a distinctive sound effect. The stack can be manipulated by adjusting the tension of the cymbal stand’s wing nut. Increased tension produces a crisp attack and short decay ideal for quick accents, while a looser setting yields a longer sustain. Works well when paired with a snare drum for enhanced back beats, or as an alternative to your snare altogether. Use all five discs for a fuller sound and increased projection, or mix and match a few sizes to find the sound that suits you best.
