The Vic Firth Studio Sessions are all about celebrating the percussion art form and the incredible musicians that bring it to life. Our next artist is one of the most dynamic performers in the medium today, blending technical prowess and unmatched lyricism behind the instrument.
A graduate of the Peabody Institute and the Yale School of Music, she’s taking the art form to the next level – including breaking barriers, like being the first ever percussionist recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant. We’re incredibly excited to share this new video from the undeniable force that is Ji Su Jung.
