That my friends is the Korg maxiKorg 800DV, which made its first appearance in 1975 originally marketed as the Univox K-3 with it’s Pac-Man style logo and all. This duophonic synth was like having two miniKorg700’s in a box. Each VCO had a complete string of circuitry, a ring modulator, vibrato, portamento & a VCF that is described as a traveler filter. The maxikorg allowed you to layer the voices in unison mode to produce an aggressive, crunchy & even smooth melodic timbres for your sound
