Billy Watman is an award-winning Anglo-Brazilian classical / finger-style instrumental guitarist based in London (UK). Currently studying at The Royal College of Music – inspired by the likes of Rodrigo y Gabriela, Tommy Emmanuel, Mike Oldfield and Paco De Lucia. He reached the final of ‚Guitar Star‘ – a guitar-based talent show open to all ages and genres for Sky Arts TV, which was broadcast in the UK, Europe, Australia and South America. Billy is an experienced live performer and has graced the main stage of the Towersey Festival along with Midge Ure, Billy Bragg and many more.
The BYWSM guitar was designed in close collaboration with Billy. He has chosen a solid spruce top, back and sides in a stunning hand-selected White Ebony with a gloss finish. Playing comfort is provided by the 48mm slim neck which features Billy‘s trademark hat inlay at the 12th fret, a new designed cutaway and a pronounced flamed Acacia body binding with embedded ergonomic armrest. The BYWSM Signature Model features a Fishman/Ortega Clasica Blend preamp system. On the back of the classic slotted headstock design, you‘ll find Billy‘s laser engraved signature. The Billy Watman Signature Model comes complete with a signature soft case with embroidered logo.
