Welcome to our latest tutorial! In this video, Conor dives into a cool technique for adding effects to a delay wet signal using Bitwig. This video is inspired by a great question from the comments about enhancing delay effects, and we’re excited to show you an innovative method to achieve this using the powerful Delay+ module in Bitwig.

Conor grabbed some dub techno samples from Loopcloud and dragged them into Bitwig to explore the unique features of Bitwig’s Delay+ module. He demonstrates how to use the feedback effects section to process delay taps while keeping your dry signal clean. You’ll also see techniques for creating chaotic and creative feedback loops, which can be used to craft distinctive soundscapes.

Conor then takes this a step further by emulating a tape delay with a touch of saturation, resulting in a more intense and immersive effect. Additionally, we’ll have some fun introducing pitch shifting to your delays, adding another layer of creativity to your productions.

By the end of this tutorial, you’ll have the knowledge to experiment with any plugins in your library, bringing a personalized touch to your delays. Whether you’re producing dub techno or any other genre, this trick will elevate your sound design skills.
