Latency has been a concern for those working with digital audio since the very beginning. However, with today’s technology, many computers are able to handle the workload just fine. In addition to lowering your block size, you now have the option to disable "Dropout Protection" in Studio One 6, minimizing latency even further.
Note that this is only recommended for those who have a well-equipped computer as it requires more processing power.
