‘From The Factory Floor’ takes you on a deep dive into select processes around the PRS factory. In this episode, we explore a process we refer to as “turnaround.” This term is derived from the PRS protocol of turning guitars around on the rack after their finish has been meticulously inspected and approved for the next stage of production. Our finish inspectors rely on specialized lighting and lots of training to identify and repair even the smallest imperfections.
