Two of the most famous and valuable vintage guitars, now for every stage! Developed in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop, Epiphone is proud to announce the new Inspired by Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Korina Explorer and Flying V.

In 1958, the year they were introduced, Gibson shipped only 19 Explorers and 81 Flying Vs. Their space-age and futuristic design was ahead of their time. As the years passed and as their style caught on, their value as collectibles grew. Today they are the world’s most valuable and sought-after vintage guitars. The guitars were discovered tucked into garages. Wrapped in trash bags. Covered in dust. A lucky few people were able to drag out that old brown case and open it to see the natural Korina body in its plush pink bed.

Both models feature a Korina body and neck with a long neck tenon and 1958 Flying V and Explorer neck profiles. They are also equipped with an Indian laurel fretboard and gold hardware. The electronics are also top-notch, with Gibson Burstbucker 2 and Burstbucker 3 pickups wired to individual volume controls and a master tone control with CTS pots and a Mallory capacitor, along with a Switchcraft 3-way pickup selector switch and ¼” output jack. An Epiphone x Gibson Custom logo on the back of the headstock is proudly displayed, and a brown hardshell case with a pink interior is also included.

Epiphone is bringing authentic 1958 Flying V and Explorer details to guitarists everywhere at a breakthrough price. Grab yours now! https://www.epiphone.com/en-US/Inspired-by-Gibson-Custom-Shop
