A long-time Taylor player and member of our artist family, Jason Mraz has been a constant source of inspiration for his fans and budding musicians everywhere. So when we asked him to nominate an artist for our 50th Anniversary Next Generation series, we weren’t surprised to hear that he had someone special in mind.
Daniel Tovar might be the youngest musician ever featured by Taylor. Though he’s still in grade school, Daniel has already shown remarkable promise as a guitar player, which is why Jason decided to nominate him as someone to watch for the next 50 years. Jason and Daniel met when Jason began volunteering at the San Diego Young Artists Music Academy, where Daniel is a student.
