A new update for all SampleTron 2 users is now available, adding 20 new presets and updates to enhance everyone’s workflow.
The Lost String Quartet
This FREE collection is something you won’t find anywhere else. It includes 4 new solo string instruments: Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, and Cello, recorded to tape many years ago by Erik Norlander and recently rediscovered inside a storage vault. Together in SampleTron 2, they add 20 presets and 30 MB of sample content to explore.
All 4 string instruments have a dramatic and sweeping vibrato that complements perfectly all of the classic Mellotron samples already inside SampleTron 2. They’ll quickly become some of your favorites.
Native Apple M1
IK is pleased to announce that version v2.0.3 of SampleTron 2 for Mac/PC brings native compatibility with Apple M1 processors to IK’s popular collection of vintage and tape-based samplers. As a result, Total Studio 3.5 MAX is one step closer to full native compatibility.
We recommend that all SampleTron 2 users update to v2.0.3 (Mac/PC) or v1.1.1 (iOS) respectively.

To get this FREE update on Mac/PC
Launch the IK Product Manager
Go to Manage My Products
Under Software, use the Update button next to SampleTron 2
If you have yet to do so, click Authorize next to SampleTron 2
In the Software tab again, use the Sounds section under SampleTron 2 to find your Download button for The Lost String Quartet
For iPad users
Open the App Store on your iPad, go to the Updates tab, and use the Update button next to SampleTron 2.
