This video shows how to update the firmware, connect to the QuickTone Editor Software and run the self-test.
❗Firmware
0. The MG-400 does not comes with the latest Firmware when shipped, it’s recommended to get the firmware upgraded to the latest version before use it for the first time.
1. Always backup your own presets(patches) with the editor software before the firmware update.
❗Editor Software
0. Make sure you download and install the QuickTone Editor Software after updating the firmware. It’s kina annoying, and we know it. If you prefer, you can stick with a certain firmware and its paired match editor.
1. Backup your presets on a regular basis, this is extremely important.
