Sarah Spencer is already a veteran Nashville songwriter and yet she’s still just getting started! She’ll be the first to tell you that there’s a lot of music left to write and a lot of artists to write it with for her. In fact, Sarah’s songwriting process led her to realize there was a need for other songwriters to build a community, learn from each other, support each other, and of course succeed together too.
She founded Song Fancy (songfancy.com), a hub for established songwriters to get a daily dose of inspiration and a place for new songwriters to learn the how-tos of the creative process but also navigating the industry that comes with it. The popularity of Song Fancy led her to expand that effort into Song Club (mysongclub.com), a subscription-based songwriting community with all the tools you need to achieve the goal: More writing days. Less writer’s guilt.
Sarah will join us for the Reason Livestream to share what she’s learned after becoming a go-to songwriter in Nashville, the songwriting capital of the world. She’ll give us some songwriting tips, and maybe even break down some of her own songs to show us the evolution from its first mumbling syllables and meandering melodies to its final polished catchy earworm.
