Shawn Persinger Electric Guitar Lesson - Two-Handed Bends | ELIXIR Strings

Using both hands to tap on the fretboard is one of the classic electric guitar soloing techniques. And while it’s mainly associated with the flashier end of the spectrum, players from Larry Carlton and Billy Gibbons as well as Eddie Van Halen and Joe Satriani have employed the technique over the years. Used tastefully, it’s a great thing to have in your arsenal.

In this short electric guitar lesson, Elixir Strings artist Shawn Persinger provides a simple introduction to two handed tapping – with a twist! In addition to simply tapping above the fretted note, Shawn adds a bend with his left hand before adding a note higher up the fingerboard. It’s something you can use no matter what style you play to add wide intervals to your solos – and easy to do when you know how! Download Tab: https://bit.ly/3lDW4F7
