The Soyuz 1973 is a high-end yet affordable large diaphragm condenser microphone that features a handmade capsule and world-class build quality. Like the other mics in the Soyuz family, the 1973 is neither a copy nor a clone but rather a “modern classic.” It was developed and built the old-fashioned way: in-house with maximum attention to detail and no corners cut.
A switchable -10 and -20db pad give it enough headroom for extreme SPL sources and a handmachined resonator filters out unwanted frequencies and resonance.
The 1973 is the perfect studio workhorse.
