This is the Builder’s Edition 517e WHB, one of the first models in the Builder’s Edition collection and one of Taylor’s first guitars built with the Grand Pacific dreadnought body shape. This model features back and sides of solid neo-tropical mahogany paired with a solid top of torrefied Sitka spruce, resulting in a focused, dry sound with rich midrange punch and a slightly aged-in sweetness. With our V-Class bracing inside to dial up the volume and sustain, this model serves up a seasoned, blended sound that remains balanced across the frequency spectrum.
