In this great interview, legendary drummer/percussionist and Gon Bops premiere artist Walfredo de los Reyes Sr discusses his amazing career, how he got into playing drums and talks about some of the music icons he’s shared the stage with. Truly a musical treasure, we’re always proud to work with this amazingly talented, ground-breaking artist. Along with many other things, Walfredo also paved the way for combining drums & percussion into what’s known today as the hybrid setup. He’s inspired countless other drummers and percussionists to be creative and express themselves. His amazing musical family includes another Gon Bops Signature artist, his son Daniel de los Reyes who is currently touring and recording with the Zac Brown Band.
