On this week’s Academy of Tone, Thomas and Rich look back on what was a very different NAMM Show experience to the one we had all expected, plus we have the latest on the launch of the AMPX and answers to your questions about all things BluGuitar.
We all had mixed thoughts about NAMM 2022 before we got there. This was the first show since 2020, many of the bigger companies wouldn’t be coming, and we weren’t sure how many people would make the trip either. In the end, though, we were pleasantly surprised about the turnout, the vibes, and the launch of AMPX!
In the show, the guys will talk about the show: the reaction to BluGuitar, our thoughts on the show itself, the awesome people we met and got to hang out with, and maybe a few other cool things we discovered at NAMM!
There will also be a Q&A session about AMPX. We are getting so many questions about the amp on social media (not to mention in person at the show!) and so the guys will answer a few of the most frequently asked questions, as well as discussing the Blugipedia knowledge base and the articles there about AMPX.
There’s also the topic of AMPX preorders and the waiting list. Again, we are getting loads of interest in AMPX, and so we have set up a waiting list – the guys will explain how all this works in the show, and how you can get on it!
