Get inside the musical mind of multi-instrumentalist and Rhodes Wiz, Steve Clements as he sails the solar winds with the help of a vintage Rhodes and the EarthQuaker Devices Astral Destiny. Ride along as the Rhodes Wiz takes the familiar, warm and velvety electric piano sound and transforms it into a sonic interstellar communicator to groove-move us all “beyond the infinite. ”Let go, relax and float down the cosmic stream on just a few empathetic chords. Clements uses six of the Astral Destiny’s eight Modes allowing sonic space travelers to be immersed in the hugeness of the Abyss, to dig deep down with the lower octave-laced Sub, and ride the Sub Shimmer’s setting’s satisfying combo of an upper and lower octave on the reverb tail. Then reach further beyond the void with the Ascend modes upward pitch bend and comeback (a bit) with its opposite, the downward pitched Descend modes. Clements then bathes some spacious chords in the complex Cosmos setting, which adds a regenerating fifth, and adds a sonic boost from the always-fun-to-stomp Stretch switch to finish the Octal Octave Reverberation Odyssey and arrive at our interstellar destination.
