GB artist/Rock drumming icon Bobby Rondinelli has performed and recorded with countless artists over his lengthy career. Two of the artists he’s worked with – Leslie West of Mountain and Blue Oyster Cult, produced 2 of Rock music’s most famous ‘cowbell’ featured tunes…Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen” and Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear The Reaper” (made even more famous on Saturday Night Live with Will Farrell!). Here’s a few clips of Bobby playing some of our bells. On “Mississippi Queen”, he’s using our Tumbao Series Rock Bell. The other clips show him using our Timbero Series Red Rock Bell and our Alex Acuna Series Bombo Bell.

ESP signature artist Josh Middleton (Architects/Sylosis) does a playthrough of the solo from the Sylosis song "I Sever" using his LTD Signature Series JM-II. The JM-II offers a bolt-on construction alder body with quilted maple top, a three-piece roasted maple neck in an extra-thin u-shaped profile, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Components on the JM-II include a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups (alnico in the neck and ceramic in the bridge), with push-pull control to select voicings. Mark is a veteran solo artist and session man, but is perhaps best known as the longtime keyboardist for the Beastie Boys and he has also recorded and/or performed with an array of artists including the Omar Rodriguez-Lopez Group, Linkin Park, and Yo Gabba Gabba. Watch as Mark, his knock-off Stratotone, do a few wacky things with the Astral Destiny under the watch of an origami Swan. Mark speaks of his affection for the Astral Destiny’s super cool stretch feature which takes your note, doubles the length of the reverb and adds an adjustable pitch bending effect.
