Drums demand a wide frequency range. The kick should sound low and warm but with definition. Snares require a solid attack and need solid punch to keep them from sounding too thin. And cymbals? That’s where things get bright. So, you need headphones that will span a broad range of frequencies to transmit the most accurate sound from your kit.
