On this week’s Academy Of Tone, Thomas and Rich look at the power of classic tone stacks on amps vs the EQ on the AMP1 Mercury Edition and Iridium Edition! The guys also take a look at EQ settings when recording when using AMP1’s recording out or different cabinets. Thomas will also explain why the AMP1 doesn’t feature Presence and Depth controls, and will answer all your EQ questions!
In the second half of the show, Thomas will explain how he became such a world-class improviser on the guitar and give us a bunch of tips and tricks on how to improve our own improvised playing! It’s a skill Thomas believes all guitarists should learn because it’s so useful in so many musical situations.
