Music is everything to Danish DJ/producer Kölsch, who’s known around the world for sets that keep the dancefloor packed from start to finish. In this video, he tells us how certain features on the “incredible” CDJ-3000 professional DJ multi player, such as Key Shift and the dedicated Beat Jump buttons, will reduce the amount of time he needs to prepare for performances and help him fit in one last record at the end of each gig. Kölsch also explains how he uses rekordbox to organize his music according to each track’s energy level and/or its key, so he knows exactly where to look to find inspiration for the perfect record that will take the crowd to the next level.

The Eliminator Lighting Frost FX BAR RGBW is a 1-meter linear entertainment lighting fixture that creates color washes and breathtaking color chase effect. It has two types of color LEDs in one fixture. It has fourteen 3W RGBW LEDs with ACL lens across the front of the fixture to create intense color beam effects. Plus, it has eighty-four RGB SMD LEDs behind a frosted plastic lens that create glowing color chase patterns. Both sets of LEDs run independently.

Each fixture has 45 built-in lightshows that can be triggered from the on-board 4-button display controls or run in DMX, sound or primary/secondary configurations. Multiple fixtures may be linked together through 3-pin DMX In/Out data connections and locking power in/out connections to so that the power may be daisy chained from one fixture to another.

Users may choose from 64 built-in color macros and 8 flexible DMX channel modes. The fixture offers 0-100% electronic dimming and requires a maximum of 55W per unit.

The Frost FX Bar RGBW horizontally or vertically for unique effects for stages, bars, lounges, clubs, bands and mobile entertainers. Multiple fixtures may be placed directly next to each other to create a seamless band or color light.

Firmware ver. 2.0 for the CDJ-3000 introduces rekordbox CloudDirectPlay. This new feature enables you to browse your entire cloud-based library directly from the multi player and play any track live when you use the rekordbox Creative or Professional plan.

There’s no need to download and export files; you can use all your meta data, such as Hot Cues and Memory Cues; and you don’t need to worry about running out of space on your USB storage device. What’s more, any meta data you edit on the CDJ-3000 – or in the PC/Mac/iOS/Android versions of rekordbox – will be automatically uploaded to the cloud, so your music library is always up to date.
