Did you know you can take any of Orba’s gestures and use them to control your favorite software synths?
In this video, we used MIDI over Bluetooth to connect to Logic Pro and picked out some of our favorite sounds to play. You’ll hear layered synths crafted with the ANA2 synth from Sonic Academy and a boomy drumset made using Drumlab from Native Instruments.

Go behind the scenes and into the studio with producer Jeff Rona to get an inside look at the recording of Resident Evil 2’s ending theme, “Saudade.” Jeff is best known for his work on blockbuster films like Black Hawk Down, Gladiator and White Squall.
In this video, Jeff details how he recorded “Saudade” using a collection of Blue studio microphones to capture a warm, vintage sound. Jeff used his trusty Blue Bottle condenser microphone to record former Sick Puppies lead vocalist Shimon Moore, along with Dragonfly and Mouse to give the instruments in the track a round, mellow sound.
“It was the sound we all had in our heads. We were incredibly happy.”
